My work has been published in CPA Canada’s Pivot Magazine, Cottage Life, The Globe and Mail, Wealthsimple TLDR, Canadian Business, Yahoo Canada, among others.

As a freelance contributing columnist for the Toronto Star, I write about personal finance topics that run the gamut from tax and estate planning to budgeting and investing to insurance to real estate. Several of these stories were recently recognized by the Portfolio Management Association of Canada’s Journalism Awards.

I’ve gone down the rabbit holes of grocery delivery services, health trackers and even pumpkin spice as contributing editor for Canadian Business’ flagship newsletter, The Evolution. My work on The Evolution went on to win gold from SABEW and the National Media Awards Foundation’s Digital Publishing Awards. From 2023 to 2024, I penned the Star’s personal finance newsletter, Smart Money.

I also dabble in content marketing and strategy. I help clients tell their stories through sponsored and branded writing projects, using my journalistic skills to craft key messaging into compelling narratives. My branded work has appeared in places like Maclean’s, Toronto Life and Report on Business Magazine.
